During the year Telham is a hamlet with a pub, a church, and a few houses and cottages in an ideal and picturesque setting. Each year for the past nineteen years, during the Bank Holiday at the end of May, thousands of music lovers arrive to enjoy four days of fun and good music in a huge marquee in a small field at the rear of The Black Horse Inn.

The program includes bands of Blues, Folk, Celtic, World music, Jazz, Soul and Rock artistes from around the World!

The Black Horse Festival is a non-profit making organisation and at this year's Festival there will be collections for St. Michael's Hospice.

On our Folk Day on Saturday May 26th 2007 we have our biggest array of acts ever, including Waterson Carthy, Norma Waterson, Martin Carthy, Eliza Carthy, Saul Rose, Titus, Band of Two, The Fold, Waking The Witch, The Simon Hopper Band, Logan Wilson, Queensberry Rules, Kokopelli and Bit On The Side - are just some of the acts you can enjoy on The Main Stage, The Club in the Pub, workshops and sessions. Again, an All Day Saturday ticket at only £16 is recommended!

During our The World Music Day on Sunday May 27th 2007 Festival goers can see Boum! from France and Daby Toure who is flying in from France for this, his only date. Baka Beyond and Osibisa are also amongst the acts on our stage. An All Day Sunday ticket at only £18 is recommended!

Please note! All-Day tickets will only be available in advance here on our website, at The Black Horse Inn at Telham, the Hastings or Battle Tourist Information Centre or The Observer Newspaper offices in Hastings and Bexhill.
